Some days ago I've decided to make a small update to my site by installing the Comment Notify module. The module should help the visitors get updates on answers in the comment sections.

You have got to hate if when you forget to update a file during Drupal upgrades. After the last Drupal upgrade I've forgot to redploy they old .htaccess file for the Gallery2, which resulted in Gallery being effectively inaccessible from the main site (unless the visitors knew the alternative link).

Some time ago, I had issues when enabling CSS optimisation using the Deco theme (which is also used by this site as well). I've solved the issue quite some time ago, but never got around to actually presenting the solution.

Funny how sometimes you manage to miss some of the news which matter to you. For quite some time I've been wondering why the heck google.com keeps popping-up in my browser under NoScript. After receiving information about latest updates for my site, I decided to figure out where does it come from, and it actually came from reCAPTCHA module (to be more precise from their site).

While trying to speed-up the site by turning on caching and some optimisations, I've ran into a problem with the Deco theme used on the site. Apparently, when CSS optimisation is turned on, it all gets messed-up (most notably the fonts don't look right).

Well, after some work, I've rearranged the website and installed a rather good gallery web application from http://gallery.menalto.com/. In addition I've also integrated the Gallery2 into the main Drupal installation using the appropriate module, which can be found at http://drupal.org/project/gallery. Of course, some minor tweaks were made as well.

Well, I've finally got around to setting-up Drupal. Although Debian Lenny has the Drupal 6 package in its repos, I decided to go for the latest version available on the official site (6.13 at time of this writing). After spending some time tweaking Apache and issuing certificates for the whole web server, I've jumped onto the Drupal documentation to get myself familiar with it.
