Jumping onto the Android Bandwagon

Well, after a lot of reluctance, I've finally made the jump onto the Android bandwagon. For a long time I haven't been ready to make the move onto it since I was hoping that a more Freedom-friendly platform would emerge, but alas, after Nokia's fiasco and MeeGo, there's not much left.

Software Requirements
There are no special software requirements for deploying the Apache HTTP server as a CRL distribution point beyond installing the web server itself.
On Debian Squeeze this can be done with a simple:
$ apt-get install apache2

CRL distribution point is a very broad term that can include a great number of different mechanisms for making CRL's available to end entities, both client and servers. The major concern when selecting the technology which will be used for making them available is whether the services meant to access the CRL's are actually capable to do so using a particular CRL distribution point type.
