Jamendo - Quality Underground Music

Branko Majic — 11. July 2011 - 21:22

From time to time I go back to Jamendo looking for something new to listen. Every time I get amazed by the quality of some of the albums that can be found there.

This time what drew my attention was the Jamendo Awards 2011, which have been organized to both promote the music on Jamendo and to give a small prize to the winners. The awards have been set-up in several categories.

Sipping through the bands found there I've found lots of new artists whose music I liked (especially in the Instrumental section). I find this a great way to promote music and to have it reach wider audience without falling in for the ruse of large music industry businesses.

So, if you want to hear some really good music, head over to Jamendo and listen some of the things there. You won't regret it, I guarantee you!
